Your kids will be able to cut and prepare their very own litmus paper to use alongside the other experiments in the kit. Litmus paper has been used for hundreds of years to read the PH or acidity level of different chemicals and compounds. With this kit your kids will actually create their own Litmus paper by mixing the included purple sweet potato powder in the beaker and gently applying it to their freshly cut litmus paper strips. Then they'll be able to use it to test PH in other experiments!
