If you need a metal prism for long distance, mining sites and night work, the AdirPro 720-12 LED Flashing Prism for Long Distance is made for you! The heavy-duty, silver-coated prism measures 2.5 inches (62.5mm) in diameter and is contained in a strong plastic canister, making it IP54 waterproof, shockproof and dustproof to hold up against all weather conditions and every environment.
Trying to locate a prism from a mile away even with a 30x total station is not easy, but with this LED Prism from AdirPro, it's a breeze. Highly visible with a florescent orange, black and yellow on stainless steel color scheme, this Flashing Prism is equipped with four LED lights which work effectively at 300m to 2km. If the prism is lighted, you can find it easily and when it’s blinking, you don't need to look around – if it's within 500m, it may even be visible to the naked eye! Furthermore, you can choose among four settings for the LED light brightness and four settings for the LED light frequency.
The LED Prism is fully compatible with total stations from Trimble, Sokkia, Topcon, Leica, Nikon, Pentax, and other leading manufacturers. It features a large 7" x 7" x 1.96" (178 x 178 x 50mm) target, has a 0 or -30mm offset, and is accurate to 2.5 arcsecond. Featuring an adjustable and fixable angle using the fixed knob on the side, it also boasts a wide tilt for a larger range of reading.
The LED lights operate on two AAA batteries, lighting up continuously for 40 hours and blinking for 80 hours. You can easily change the brightness and frequency of the LED lights by pressing a button on the back of the Prism target. Select among 100%, 70%, 40% and 20% brightness according to your best use and change the frequency of flashing to 1hz, 3hz, 6hz and lighting to suit your needs.
The AdirPro 720-12 LED Flashing Prism for Long Distance comes with everything you need to start using it right out of the box. Use the tiny screwdriver to open battery compartment, then install the two AAA batteries to operate the lights. When setting as prism constant 0mm, use with the included LA-0 adapter. It even comes with a durable padded case for easy transport from one location to the next.
